He has released three solo albums and two collaborative albums, as well as contributed to the albums of other recording artists. Sefmiya is also the front-man of the band Sefmiya & The Sirens, which he formed with a couple of childhood friends, as well as the horn section, The Horny Horns. Biography Sefmiya grew up in the Atlanta area and performed in and around his hometown. He is the son of classical pianist and concert performer, Michael Isaacs. When he was 11, he joined his father in the youth symphony in Atlanta. While in the orchestra, he was able to work with some of the best musicians in the area. He attended music school, but never pursued a career in the music industry as he saw many of his friends become well known recording artists, and he wanted to become a lawyer. In the early 1990s, Sefmiya formed a band with fellow schoolmates, Jasam Starner, and Kenny Bennett. They were known as Sefmiya & The Sirens and released one EP, titled “Naked Singles.” Sefmiya was asked to play in a “small club” in the Atlanta area and to his surprise, the night ended with a sold-out crowd. Sefmiya began to see that he might have a future in the music industry. He formed The Horny Horns with members of Sefmi ac619d1d87
